Refurbished 6" carbon steel utility made in Thiers, France for Theirs Issard 4 Star Elephant Sabatier. Knife has a hand forged after drop forged construction suggesting manufacture in the 1960s or 70s, most likely.
Blade was a little sharpened in and has been thinned and refurbished here at Bernal Cutlery. The light electro etch blade markings are long gone but the handle is still clearly marked ****Sabatier.
