Table knife with early 19th century style scored bone handle and wide curved shear steel blade marked J Brammall (1776-1852).
Shallow pits and pepper spots are par for the course on a knife this old, the crack on the handle is not distressing for a knife that was made by someone born in 1776, blade is nice and secure. Knife has not been sharpened in or damaged from heavy corrosion. The puddle weld on right hand outside of blade is a great example of the forge weldign of shear steel to iron bolster blade construction.
