La Trompette 9.75" Nogent Style Chef Knife 1870-1890s
Antique 1870's-1890's La Trompette chef knife that is still going strong after lots of use.
The blade has been sharpened down quite a bit and the tang has been bent to make more clearance, ebony handle has a few hairline cracks but is solid otherwise.
Always cool to find one that predates the 1891 addition of "made in France" and the 1920 addition of the M Pouzet stamp.
