K.C. Seelbach 10” Chef Knife Carbon Steel Solingen 1950s VGC
Barely used vintage K.C. Seelbach 10” chef knife made in Solingen Germany.
Blade was found with slightly dulled factory edge and a few small rust patches. It got a fresh edge, a light cleaning to the surface of the steel and some oil for the handle. Otherwise, this is about as good as it gets for a ‘used’ vintage knife.
Drop forged and hand ground blade is medium to heavy at 9.9 oz, it has a lot of convexity and distal taper and a nice contoured European walnut handle.
Blade is 10 5/8” from tip to heel, 1 15/16” wide at heel and 15 3/4” overall 9.9 oz
