Hackman Sorsakoski (Fiskars) Mystery Scraper / Chopper Finland 19th / Early 20th C

Mystery antique Hackman & Sorsakoski ( now Fiskars) scraper / chopper etc. with stiff 6x2.5" forged carbon steel blade held to brass neck with a steel pin with turned wood handle. 

This has engendered some wild speculation as to what it is and what it was intended for. I have no good ideas. But the bad ones are fun, and its a beautiful old item.
