Gerlach Warszawa 6" Cleaver Hand-Forged Carbon Steel Birdseye Rivets Poland 1900-1930s?
Gerlach Warszawa (est 1760) hand forged 6" carbon steel cleaver with brass and steel rosette / birdseye riveted rosewood handle.
Not many of these surface, I have one in a personal collection (with 6 pointed stars, this one has 5 pointed stars).
Blade is pretty full without damage, small patches of light pits but nothing terible. ROsewood handle had one crack that has been sealed with epoxy, otherwise tight and secure.
